| | For anyone who still reads this in hopes that I'll actually post something, I am moving to Wichita, KS for a new job. My last day at the Tribune is this Wednesday, and I'll be moving at the end of next week. This was an unexpected development in my life. They saw my resume online and came to me. I felt pretty tortured about it for a few weeks, but a couple of my good friends encouraged me to continue with the interview process. It really is a great opportunity in a bigger city. Wichita has a population of 350,000 people and the YMCAs there are phenomenal. Time to get back in shape!
I'm sad to leave my friends and church, but I'm excited to be closer to my adorable niece and my best friend. I'm also glad that I won't have to fly home at Christmas time now. I'll just have to drive a couple hours. Oh, and there should be less snow than here. Wahoo! |
